Maarakennus M. Mäkinen Oy has invested in Hitachi 180W and Hitachi 55U excavators

Maarakennus M. Mäkinen Oy has invested in two new excavators. The new Hitachi 180W also meets the latest railway sector requirements. This rail-wheel excavator is equipped with a lightweight brush cutter manufactured by Mense Oy, which, thanks to its extended boom, allows for cutting vegetation from a greater distance than usual.

The Hitachi 55U, on the other hand, is a compact tracked excavator that can also access challenging areas outside the railway zone. This tracked excavator makes it easy to clear vegetation even in difficult spots, such as along fences.
